What is the #75hard challenge?

The #75hard challenge was created by Andy Frisella, and consists of 5 daily tasks that must be done for a period of 75 days. Although the tasks are simple, they are not necessarily easy. As Andy had stated on many platforms, this program was not meant to be easy or comfortable. The purpose of the challenge is actually to build mental strength, more so than lose weight or build muscle. Only when we build mental strength are we in a better place to achieve our goals in life.

The dedication to do the tasks, daily, in spite of time restraints (schedule changes, outside obligations and weather challenges make for a potential added "interruption" on a daily basis) is the secret. How we respond to these challenging interruptions determines our success. Below is the list of tasks, in no particular order. Are you ready to overhaul your life in a mere 75 days? I know I am. I started this challenge 5/1/23. Wish me luck!

There are daily tasks which much be done consistently for the entire 75 days.

If you skip a day, you must start over. If you miss a task, you must start over at day one. "

  1. Pick a diet to follow, with no alcohol or cheat meals.

  2. Drink a gallon of water daily.

  3. Complete 2 daily workouts. Two 45-minute workouts of your choice must be completed per day and one of those workouts must be done outside, regardless of the weather.

  4. Read 10 pages per day of a non-fiction book. "

  5. Take a progress photo every day.
